Chief Executive Officer, Global Building Technologies, Inc.

Hal Hinkle

“Earlier versions of the PrimeWall proved that low-carbon, panelized framing can radically reduce skilled labor, accelerate construction schedules, and deliver superior thermal and acoustic performance,” said Hal Hinkle, CEO of PrimeTech. “With PrimeTech, we are taking that disruptive value proposition and solving the logistics of distributed off-site fabrication while further compressing cycle time for builders. By developing new AI-Driven design-for-manufacturing digital workflows with a distributed manufacturing footprint, we can make this technology accessible to high-demand markets across the U.S. and Canada.”

Hal is the Founder and CEO of Global Building Technologies, Inc. (PrimeTech.BUILD), the successor company to the award winning green building component manufacturing company BamCore. His focus is on driving innovation in the residential building sector that addresses the affordability crisis by creating digital produced, super sustainable and simple to build framing systems.

After 22 years at Goldman Sachs, then founding and running BrokerTec Global 5 years, he retired to pursue a PhD in Neuroscience from Columbia University, where in his first year he was awarded a Graduate Research Fellowship from the National Science Foundation. He returned to his native California to build an organic and climate-conscious vineyard and winery in Sonoma County (SeiQuerce.com), there he discovered BamCore which he incorporated into his building projects before taking over management of the company. In the course of this work, he also founded the World Bamboo Foundation in 2022.

Today, his wine label is managed by others but continues as the first dually certified organic and climate-adapted winery in the world. Now, his full commercial focus is embedding AI into the digital design platform that is the backbone of PrimeTech.BUILD's unique, labor saving and super sustainable residential framing system. Hal holds a BS degree (Cum Laude) in biochemistry from UC Irvine, an MBA (Beta Gama Sigma) from Columbia Business School, and MS, MPhil, and Ph.D. degrees from Columbia Medical School. In 2022 he was named a Construction Visionary by the Construction Institute. And he is also a certified University of California Climate Steward. Hal lives in Geyserville, CA.
